The Intersection of Art and Technology: A Unique Perspective

As a Senior Technology Leader, my background in fine arts provides a unique advantage in driving creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. My paintings, including those that push boundaries or evoke strong emotions, are an expression of my ability to see beyond conventional solutions—something that benefits any technology-driven organization. Art fosters creativity, empathy, and a deep understanding of human experiences, all of which enhance my leadership, communication, and adaptability in the tech world.

In tech leadership, unconventional thinking leads to groundbreaking results. My experience in fine arts allows me to view challenges through multiple lenses, encouraging innovative problem-solving and a holistic approach to business strategy. Even when my artwork may appear controversial, it reflects my willingness to explore new ideas and challenge the status quo, which are essential qualities for leadership in technology.

This artistic mindset translates to leading diverse teams with empathy and fostering environments where out-of-the-box thinking is valued. The emotional intelligence gained through my art practice complements my technical expertise, making me an adaptable and well-rounded leader capable of navigating both the human and technical aspects of business challenges.

2020-2021 It’s all about Creating

New year brings new endeavours. In 2020-2021 one of my original watercolor pieces has been selected to be on display at Legislative Assembly of Ontario in Toronto. It is on loan for a full year – you can also purchase this original piece through Legislative Assembly of Ontario Exhibits and Programs at the end of it’s public display period.

Unfortunately Legislative Assembly of Ontario has been closed for tours due to COVID concerns. This piece of art is now officially the most hidden, protected and unseen piece of art in last 50 years?

“Cherry tree where it ain’t supposed to be!”

On display now (2020) as part of “Art à la Carte Program” at Legislative Assembly of Ontario
Experimental Impressionistic (original) watercolor artwork. Using watercolors India Ink and Gold Ink to create texture and depth of beautiful morning landscape that shimmers in light. Incorporating playful and unpredictable nature of watercolours and inks that spill over the page to create unique conceptual moment in time. Cherry tree by a small creek, made by and hidden within imagination.

2019-2020 – The First Adventure

Start of my arts career, and most humbling experience was having one of my paintings chosen to be on display in a “Gathering” collection at Mississauga Central Library taking part in Community Art Exhibition in 2019.

“Gathering” (Digital Painting) – Art Exhibition @ Mississauga Central Library 2019
Painting demonstrates how a simple park bench can be used to change the world. When people of all cultures, races, faiths, and other differences gather, despite their interests and drives, just talking and sharing ideas can build a better tomorrow. Images is flooded subversive symbolism.
